It has hard to believe that Labor Day is a mere two weeks away. School will be starting September 4th, football season will be underway come September 5th…but not before one of the last hoorahs of the Chicago festival season – CRUSH in Old Town. This is a don’t-miss event in Chicago; Mark even chose it as one of his top three last year, read here.
The festival celebrates the best in wine, food and art and is located on Wells St. between North Ave. to Schiller. It has a family-friendly atmosphere with free activities for children including inflatables, crafts, and games.
All proceeds from CRUSH in Old Town support the aesthetic and economic health of the Old Town community. Revitalization of public space, neighborhood marketing, landscaping and special events benefit from donations gathered at the gates.
