Hello to our Family and Friends!
In honor of the giving season, Events.org will be holding a drawing for an Amazon Kindle. We were inspired by all of our OnePage clients that annually raise money for worthy charities and our DonationXchange clients that continuously give donations throughout the year to give back to the people who support us.
On January 2nd we will be holding a drawing for anyone who “likes” the DonationXchange or Events.org Facebook pages, “follows” @Donationx or@Eventsdotorg on Twitter, or subscribes to either our EventsDotOrg blog or DonationXchange blog. You will receive an entry into the drawing for each “like,” “follow,” or subscription, so please feel free to “like” each page, “follow” each twitter account, and subscribe to each of the blogs for more chances to win the Kindle Fire.
Happy Holidays, The Events.org Team
Oh fall. How we love your cool mornings, pumpkin spice lattes, changing leaves and…football. And as many of you know, today is the kick-off (pun totally intended) for college football. This year we began working closely with colleges, specifically with their athletic departments, as we roll out our beta version of DonationXchange.
Now your favorite teams such as the USC Trojans, the Penn State Nittany Lions, and the Baylor Bears have streamlined their donation request process, making it easier for both parties. To see an example, check out Baylor’s donation request form.
So cheer on your favorite teams (for ESPN’s NCAA football preview for the 2011 season click here) and keep an eye out for DonationXchange as it puts your donation request process online, making it greener, faster, and easier.
Three cheers for a few of our Alma maters:
Go Spartans, Hawkeyes, Wildcats, Hoosiers, and Hoyas!
Our new page is here! Check it out: https://eventsdotorg.wordpress.com/how-can-we-help/. Learn about Events.org services and the different ways we can help you whether you are a non-profit, association, or business. I truly believe that there is something beneficial for everyone. Events.org began as a philanthropic organization, so our mission is to help you!
Who will it be?
We are getting really excited about the NBA playoffs (as we currently support several of the teams), but I’m getting ahead of myself! Derrick Rose is definitely a lead contender for MVP, and is it possible? probable? for the Bulls to rein in another NBA title? In the coming week Events.org will be putting together a poll so that everyone can vote for the 2011 NBA champs. I won’t tell you who we’re voting for, but I’ll tell ya that Bill Swerkski is on our side.
In light of the excitement surrounding this year’s games, we would like to introduce you to our bambino, DonationXchange. DonationXchange is a web portal that efficiently connects donors, nonprofits, and patrons with each other – allowing users to streamline their administrative processes to focus on the impact on their communities. The DonationXchange system was designed to save corporate donors time and money by automating their community outreach and donation request process. To learn more about DonationXchange, watch our product presentation or email email@example.com for a personalized demonstration with Events.org staff.
